New Food Truck Event Planned For Libertyville

The first ever Tasty Thursday will be held this Thursday at the Crawford House in Libertyville.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Tasty Thursdays are coming to Libertyville.

The new summer event planned by the village's recreation department will debut this Thursday and will be held at the Crawford House, 817 W. Lake St. Tasty Thursdays will include food trucks, live entertainment and family friendly games.

Each Tasty Thursday, which will be held on July 27, Aug. 3. and Aug. 10, will run from 4 to 7 p.m., and will have differed food trucks and entertainment.

Here is a look at what is planned for each event:

  • July 27: Your Sister's Tomato Woodfired Pizza; from 5 to 6 p.m.: Bio Dome: The Reptile Emporium Reptile Show.
  • Aug. 3: Pizzeria Deville, Coop's Fresh Chicken food truck; from 4 to 7 p.m.: Uncle Pigeon Band Unplugged.
  • Aug. 10: Mario's, Flyin' Hawaiian; Kiki's Cotton Candy; from 4 to 7 p.m. School of Rock performance.
