New Gurnee Great Wolf Lodge Now Hiring For 600 Open Positions

GURNEE, IL – In preparation for its opening this summer, Great Wolf Lodge will host a week-long job fair on Monday, May 14, through Friday, May 18 to fill nearly 600 open positions at its much-anticipated resort in Gurnee, according to a news release. The resort will open in the former Key Lime Cove. Employment opportunities include retail, guest services, housekeeping, and food and beverage.

Interested “pack” members can attend the hiring events and open interview sessions – no prior application is necessary to interview. Position descriptions can be reviewed, and applications submitted on jobs.greatwolf.com.

To learn more about the openings, potential employees can attend informational sessions on Thursday, May 10 and Friday, May 11, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Viking Park Community Center, 437 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee.

The job fair will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 14 through May 18 at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington Street in Grayslake.

The extensive transformation of Great Wolf Lodge Illinois will include an expanded water park – almost double the size of the former Key Lime Cove site – with two new group slides and an outdoor plunge pool and cabana seating area. The property will also feature Barnwood, the brand’s new farm-to-fork culinary concept offering guests and locals alike with seasonal and locally sourced fare within a rustic setting.

The property is taking reservations starting July 1, 2018.

Great Wolf Lodge provides medical, dental and vision plans to its employees, flexible spending, 401K and matching, paid time off, paid holidays, parental leave, waterpark and room discounts ad more. Average hourly rates range from $11 to $13.
