New Libertyville Restaurant Has Walk-Up Dessert Window, Outdoor Patio With Fireplace

LIBERTYVILLE, IL - Another unique restaurant will be opening soon in downtown Libertyville. Main Street Social will officially open its doors on Saturday, May 27, and will offer Italian- and Mediterranean-style foodin its newly renovated space at 608 N. Milwaukee Avenue, the Daily Herald reports. The restaurant will be moving into a location formerly occupied by three former retail spaces.

Inside Main Street Social, there will seating for 100, exposed brick walls, chandeliers, wrought-iron accents and a hammered-zinc bar top, according to the Daily Herald. There is also an outdoor patio that has a fireplace and a walk-up dessert window.

Duke Ross, operating principal for Main Street Social, told the Daily Herald the restaurant will serve up a twist on traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, included Greek-style baby back ribs. There will be boutique wine offered, hand-crafted beverages and unique desserts.

Main Street Social is taking reservations online for those wishing to check out Libertyville's newest dining options.
