Participate in the Bunny Rock 5K & Egg Hunt THIS SATURDAY

Grab somebunny who loves you and join the FIRST EVER Bunny Rock 5K, in Vernon Hills on Saturday, April 13, 2019, beginning at Hawthorn Mall. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. with the egg hunt for children ages two-ten beginning at 9:45 a.m. This event is hosted by event company, Adrenaline Special Events (ASE).

Participants will hop to the finish line sporting their bunny ears, neon sunglasses and dri-fit t-shirt provided with registration. The egg hunt, which begins after the 5K will contain 3000 candy filled eggs as well as a live petting zoo with over 20 animals including ducks, goats, lambs and more. Opportunities to take pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available. Egg hunt participants will receive bunny ears, sunglasses, a basket and as many eggs as they are able to collect.

“Seeing the children’s excitement during the egg hunt is awe inspiring,” said Aaron Del Mar, ASE founder. “There’s no better way to kick off the Easter holiday!”

Proceeds from this inaugural event will benefit Reach Rescue, Inc., a local not-for-profit, no kill shelter dedicated to rescuing, fostering and sheltering homeless animals.

Awards and customized Bunny Rock 5K medals will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers of each age group. The top three overall male and female finishers will also receive a customized Bunny Rock mug.
