Pop-Up Vinyl Record Sale to Benefit Food Pantry
Proceeds from the sale this week in Libertyville will go toward the Libertyville Township Food Pantry.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL -- A pop-up vinyl record sale will be held next weekend and the proceeds will help benefit the Libertyville Township Food Pantry, which serves around 50,000 people in Libertyville, Green Oaks, and unincorporated areas and parts of Vernon Hills, Mundelein, North Chicago, Waukegan and Mettawa, the Daily Herald reports. The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 11 at an empty storefront at 330 N. Milwaukee Avenue. Lance Schart, an organizer in the second annual sale, said $1,400 in cash and 400 pounds in food was donated to the pantry last year from the sale.
"We're looking to double everything this year," Schart told the Daily Herald.
