Recycling Increases in Libertyville: Village

Village officials are encouraging residents to continue efforts to recycle in the village.

In 2010, residents in the village were disposing of 2.07 pounds of waste per capita per day. The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County goal for 2015 is 1.60 and village officials said Libertyville is currently disposing of 1.57 pounds of waste per capita per day.

The 2020 goal is 1.35 pounds of waste per capita per day.
