The mission of the Lake County Cares "Heart 2 Heart" outreach program is to provide relief to women in crisis, in hope of permanently altering their lives for the better. Since 2007, Lake County Cares has assembled and delivered more than 1,050 personal hygiene kits for women in the care of the following agencies: A Safe Place, the Lake County Haven, Holy Family Food Pantry, Women's Residential Services, NICASA , PADS, House of Peace and Zacharias Center."I was so touched because EVERY day I had a bag or two by my front door. People who donated were past clients, neighbors, friends and family," said Renee. "Thank you to all who contributed. Your kindness is making someone happy today", she continued.A long-time resident of Lake County, Renee has almost 25 years experience listing and selling homes in the North and Northwest suburbs as well as the North Shore (from Evanston north to Lake Bluff).
