Renowned Artists to Participate in Adler Center Benefit and Silent Art Auction

The David Adler Music & Arts Center announces list of artists participating in the A-List Speakeasy and Silent Art Auction, May 16th

The David Adler Music & Arts Center is pleased to announce the names of the renowned artists whose work will be sold at the Silent Art Auction and Benefit on Saturday, May 16th from 6-10 pm.

The public is invited to attend the A-List Speakeasy and Silent Art Auction, the Adler Center’s annual benefit. The historic home of architect David Adler will be transformed into the A-List Speakeasy, transporting guests to the Prohibition Era for a fun filled evening featuring fine art, live jazz, and delicious food and spirits.

Bid on original fine art by nationally-known artists with ties to the North Shore arts community. Participating artists include:

The work of these and other artists will be featured as guests enjoy the culinary creations of Chef Lee Kuebler of Libertyville’s Milwalky Trace, as well as refreshments from Sunset Foods and Shakou Sushi. Mundelein’s Tighthead Brewing Company will feature their fine craft beers. North Shore Distillery will provide spirits and signature cocktails.

Guys and dolls can cut a rug to classic jazz favorites performed by the 17-piece, Highland Park Pops Big Band.

“It will be an evening of dancing, bourbon-tastings, and great art. It’s a fun night out and a great way to give back and support the Adler Center,” says Heather Williamson, Program Coordinator.

Tickets for the event are $75 per person. A secret password is required to attend, and tickets must be purchased in advance by visiting http://www.adlercenter.org/index.php/attend/gala/

The Adler Center is proud to offer scholarships and free art exhibits, and to host community-wide events like Fine Arts Month and the Annual Festival of the Arts held every August in Cook Park. The Adler Center’s only annual benefit will maintain and grow the Center’s offerings of exceptional art and music instruction, summer camps, workshops, concerts and art exhibitions.

Located in the historic home of architect David Adler, the David Adler Music and Arts Center is dedicated to making music and the arts an integral part of everyday life in the North Shore community. Its year-round activities are designed to foster engagement and achievement in the arts for the people of Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. The David Adler Music and Arts Center is located at 1700 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville.
