Round Lake Beach Man Accused Of Hitting Condell Security Officer

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A 47-year-old Round Lake Beach man faces battery charges for allegations he hit a security officer at Condell Medical Center.

Ryan Kudingo, of the 1400 block of Kildeer Drive, was taken into custody at about 5:15 p.m. on Jan. 1 at the hospital, 801 S. Milwaukee Ave., for a report of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they found Kudingo who had been restrained by security staff, according to a report from the Libertyville Police Department.

Authorities say that while Kudingo was being released from the hospital he grabbed a security officer's name badge, pulled on the security officer's vest and hit the security officer in the face with his hand.

He was arrested and taken to the Libertyville Police Department where he was cited for two counts of battery. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
