Route 45 Closed as Crews Address Retaining Wall Collapse
The retaining wall collapsed last month.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Northbound Route 45 will be closed starting this week as crews work to replace a retaining wall that collapsed last month. Metra and the Illinois Division of Transportation are coordinating on plans for the replacement of the retaining wall that collapsed north of Peterson Road in September. The closure is expected to last about one month.
