Sanitary Sewer Upgrades Lead To Lane Closures In Libertyville
Lane closures will be in place along Rockland Road and Garfield Avenue through Friday.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Upgrades are being made to a sanitary sewer along Rockland Road in Libertyville this week. Village officials say the work will run from 7 a.m. through the early evening hours through July 15.
During the the work, which will include lining a portion of the village's sanitary sewer, a detour will be set up for westbound traffic on Rockland Road from Carter Street to South Stewart Avenue and for northbound Garfield Avenue from West Austin to West Lincoln avenues.
The work will be done using a UV curing, which is meant to reduce the noise and shorten the time of installation compared to the traditional steam curing process.
