Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for McHenry, Kane, Lake Counties

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for McHenry, Lake and northern Kane counties through 10:45 a.m. this morning.

The thunderstorm could bring 60 mph wind gusts and penny-size hail, according to the National Weather Service. There could be damage to roofs, siding and trees.
