On July 11, 2014 the Lake County Sheriff’s Office will host a seminar on Human Trafficking: Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.  This is the second course Sheriff Mark C. Speakers for Friday’s course will include the Director of the Salvation Army PROMISE program and Founder of Anne’s House along with Detective Al Krok.  The seminar will be held at Crossroads Church located at 1350 Route 137 in Grayslake from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.

Participants will be taught the skills necessary to recognize the commercial sexual exploitation of children, detect risk factors, identify and effectively engage victims, and build skills necessary to serve youths affected by human trafficking.
