SOAR Senior Network to Host Informational Open House

May 23, 5-7 pm at The Wellshire, Lincolnshire

Aging woes? Local seniors and adult children are invited to attend an informational open house hosted by SOAR (Senior Outreach and Resources) to find solutions to common aging challenges.

The event, a celebration of Older Americans Month, will be held at The Wellshire, 170 Jamestown Lane, Lincolnshire on May 23 from 5-7pm. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.

SOAR is a continuum of care senior network of aging specialists. Members of SOAR will be on hand to mingle with guests, answering questions about universal dilemmas such as finding supportive housing, meeting medical needs and financial planning. There will also be a panel presentation.

In addition, one lucky attendee will win a door prize valued at $100.

The SOAR network is composed of local businesses and nonprofits that serve the senior population, including A Place for Mom, Azpira Place, Baird & Warner, Catholic Charities, Cinnick Counseling Services, Heartland Hospice, Home Instead Senior Care, Legacy Healthcare, NShore Patient Advocates, Shire Law Group and Veterans’ Advocates.
