The Libertyville Police Department recently field complaints regarding the solicitor who now faces disorderly conduct charges.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — A Chicago man faces disorderly conduct charges for allegations he began to yell obscenities at two different Libertyville residents while going door-to-door as a solicitor, authorities said. Alfonso Bolden, 27, was arrested on Sept. 26 after officers found him in the area of the 700 block of Liberty Bell Lane after a resident called to complain about him, according to a police report.

During that incident, the Libertyville resident told police a man showed up at their home at about 5:30 p.m. and began yelling obscenities after the resident declined his services, according to police. A day earlier, authorities responded to the 600 block of Paddock Lane for similar complaints.

One resident shared video taken through the use of a doorbell camera that showed their interaction with Bolden, according to police. Bolden faces three disorderly conduct charges in connection with the complaints.
