Spring Community Days to Kick Off at KeyLime Cove

To benefit United Way of Lake County, Gurnee Police and Fire Departments

March 25, 2015 (Gurnee, IL) – KeyLime Cove and United Way of Lake County (UWLC) announce the launch of “Community Days,” a special limited-time promotion allowing the general public to enjoy some time in the fun-shine at the Lost Paradise Indoor Waterpark while raising money for community organizations at the same time.

Five thousand one-day tickets to KeyLime Cove’s Lost Paradise Waterpark, for $25 each, will be available starting Monday, March 23. All proceeds will benefit United Way of Lake County, and the Gurnee Police and Fire Departments. Day passes with no required hotel stay are not available at KeyLime Cove except through this Community Days promotion.

The indoor waterpark resort has also been recognized by Aquatics International with the “Best of Aquatics” award for its state-of-the-art ozone purification technology that produces some of the purest water anyone could swim in, anywhere on Earth.

The Community Days promotion has been held every year since 2009 and over $276,000 in proceeds has been distributed to United Way of Lake County and other nonprofit partners. “With our long tradition of partnering with the business community to advance the common good, we are honored to be working together again with KeyLime Cove to help raise funds to improve lives in Lake County,” said Kristi Long, President and CEO of United Way of Lake County. “The tickets are a fantastic value for families, friends, co-workers, employees and groups to take advantage of KeyLime Cove without a required hotel stay,” she added.

Community Days tickets may be ordered online at www.LIVEUNITEDlakecounty.org/keylimecove, at United Way of Lake County’s office and KeyLime Cove’s front desk during business hours.

Adults must accompany children ages 16 and under and have a ticket, even if they are just chaperones. Children under age two do not require tickets. Food and beverages may not be brought in from the outside, but can be purchased at the resort. Ticket redemption is subject to daily occupancy restrictions, and KeyLime Cove reserves the right to deny entry based on capacity.

About United Way of Lake County:
