Sugarville Is Coming To Libertyville
A Libertyville couple plans to open the ice cream parlor and candy shop in downtown Libertyville this summer.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — An ice-cream parlor and candy shop will move into a former craft beer store in downtown Libertyville.
Work is underway on the building at 107 W. Church Street, with plans to open Sugarville tin June, according to the Daily Herald. Brian and Elizabeth Smith will run the business, which will serve up gourmet ice-cream in the front of the store and will have a candy store in the back.
"We wanted something our kids eventually could be a part of," Elizabeth said. "This will be a family business for sure — no franchise, just us."
