Summer Art & Music Classes at the David Adler Music and Arts Center

The David Adler Music and Arts Center announces a creative array of group art and music classes that begin July 6th.

Children age 5-12 will enjoy Mixed Media and Fun with Pastels. In Mixed Media, create using acrylic paints, pastels, watercolors, and magazine cut-outs. In Fun with Pastels, students will learn techniques like blending, shading, highlighting and mixing of color. Create still life drawings and imaginative worlds of your own. This class is designed for the beginner and continuing artist.

Music students aged 7+ can register for Chamber Music Camp. This week-long camp gives students the opportunity to form their own chamber ensembles while receiving instruction from nationally-acclaimed instructors.

Adults can relax with the Adler Center’s popular Art and Wine workshops, or enroll in 6-weeks of art instruction in Abstract Painting. Explore the process of abstract painting through mood, emotion, and atmosphere. Understand how a particular color or shape makes you feel. Explore and become more adept at interpreting and appreciating abstract art while creating beautiful and whimsical one of a kind works of your own.
