Summer Concert Schedule at Independence Grove Forest Preserve Announced
The first summer concert will be held on June 14.

The concerts will be held on 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday starting on June 14 and going through August 9. There will not be a concert on July 5.
From Beatles to the blues, from rock and bluegrass to swing and jazz, there’s something for just about any music taste in this year's entertainment lineup.
- June 14: R-Gang Motown-era R&B, funk and soul dance band plays the Temptations, Elvis, Prince and more.
- June 21: Cash Box Kings Award winning band takes you back to the golden era of Chicago-style blues.
- June 28: Adam Ezra Group Original rock, performed with Springsteen-like passion
- July 12: Special Consensus Four-person acoustic bluegrass band influenced by a variety of genres for every music taste
- July 19: The Cavern Beat A fabulous foursome recreating the Beatles look and sound.
- July 26: Bumpus Chicago’s funk and soul heavy hitters hearken to the great progressive albums of the ‘70s,
- August 2: Bopology Vintage favorites like Mack the Knife, Misty, Chicago and Summer Wind played by six talented swing, jazz and jump-blues aficionados
- August 9: Mr. Myers Original music sound influenced by calypso, ska, reggae, and rock and roll; Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett and Harry Belafonte

Concert Details
Parking is $6 per car after 5 pm on concert days. For your safety, and as a courtesy to preserve neighbors, please park in the preserve only. Cars will be turned away when parking is full.

Concerts are open to all ages and are held at Independence Grove’s outdoor amphitheater, Millennia Plaza. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Arrive early to secure your spot.
The café offers walk-up service during concerts and serves a variety of entrees, snacks and beverages. To make your concert outing even more memorable, call 847-968-3499 to reserve a pontoon boat for your group of up to eight.

Enjoy the Preserve
Before the evening concert begins, spend the afternoon at the preserve swimming, fishing, or boating on the 115-acre lake, or hiking, biking or in-line skating on nearly 7 miles of trails. Stop by the Visitors Center to explore educational exhibits and learn about rental space, and visit the café.
Pets Not Permitted
With the exception of service animals, dogs, horses and other pets are not permitted at Independence Grove.
