Three New Restaurants Coming To Libertyville

Flambe India, The Wicked Egg and Salamat Po are three new restaurants that have opened or will be opening soon in Libertyville.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Three new restaurants are planning to open soon, or already have opened, in Libertyville.

Flambe India restaurant just opened at 226 Peterson Road and has a ribbon cutting planned for Monday, according to the Daily Herald. Flambe India also has a location in Buffalo Grove.

The authentic Indian casual restaurant has a touch of French influence and serves up traditional favorites as well as dishes that have a "twist," according to the restaurant's website. All of the masalas, which is a mix of spices, have been created by Flambe India's Chef Niaz, some of which were taught to him by his mother.

A third restaurant planned for south of downtown is Salamat Po, which will bring its Filipino to its location at 212 S. Milwaukee Avenue. The restaurant plans to serve up traditional dishes as well as pastries, snacks, street food and sweets, according to the article.
