Village Releases Santa Parade Route

LIBRTYVILLE, IL — A tradition that began during COVID is still going strong in Libertyville. The village's Santa parade will run from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.

The village has released this year's parade route, which can be found below.

During the parade's initial year, Santa traveled down every street in Libertyville over a four-day period in 2020.

"It began in 2020 as a way to bring Santa to visit during the pandemic and it was such a great hit it is being continued," village administrator Kelly Amidei told Patch in an email response.
