Village Schedules Stormwater Utility Fee Town Hall Meetings For Libertyville Residents

The Village will be hosting two virtual town hall sessions to review the proposed fee and stormwater capital improvement plan.

The Village is considering implementing a stormwater utility fee to finance the capital improvements identified in the Master Stormwater Management Plan. Residents and business can learn more about the proposed fee here. This web page includes fee background, a list of frequently asked questions, and a tool that allows customers to lookup their property’s estimated stormwater utility fee amount. If adopted by the Village Board, the fee would go into effect on September 1, 2021.

In order to facilitate the virtual meeting, participants are encouraged to submit questions or provide feedback in advance of the meeting by emailing stormwaterhelp@libertyville.com. Comments and questions will be read aloud during the meeting. Each town hall session will be recorded and uploaded for later viewing on the Village’s website.
