Walgreens (North Milwaukee Store) Shares the Sweets
Walgreens Donates Sweet Treats to Ronald McDonald House and Libertyville Food Pantry

The Libertyville Walgreens located on North Milwaukee Avenue shared their “Halloween” sweets today. Store manager Lavona Russo generously donated the candies and other Halloween items. The sweet treats are headed for the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago and the Libertyville Food Pantry. This is Walgreens second year to share the goodies with the Ronald McDonald House and the local food pantry. The generosity is greatly appreciated by these two organizations. Volunteers from St. Basil Church of Mettawa picked up the containers to make the deliveries to Chicago and the food pantry.
Thank you Walgreens not only for your generous support of other charitable organizations that help people but for the great store manager Lavona who serves at the voice of Walgreens support and the face of kindness that reaches out to those in need.
