Come to the Vernon Hills High School pool and prepare for kayaking! This course is offered for beginning kayak enthusiasts interested in learning the basics of kayaking in a safe pool environment. A certified instructor will instruct kayak basics. This course will require getting out of your boat, so be prepared to get wet and to go under water. Prerequisites: participants should be proficient swimmers who feel comfortable going under water. Class size limited to four. No discounts or vouchers. Tuition: $99. Class meets on Sunday from 4:15–5:45 PM on February 28‒March 13 at Vernon Hills High School. Registration is required.
