Water Sports - Kayaking - Rescue Class

Ever wonder what to do if you capsize while paddling your kayak? Want to paddle your kayak safely this summer? Come to the pool and learn how to rescue yourself and the people you are paddling with. Let us teach you many different types of rescues in case you flip over while paddling. Certified American Canoe Association instructors will teach you assisted rescues and self-rescues such as paddle float, scramble, and T rescues. Students MUST have their own boats. Please contact lead instructor with the type of boat you will bring to class. No discounts or vouchers. Tuition: $69. Class meets on Sunday from 5:45–7:15 PM on April 3‒April 10 at Vernon Hills High School. Registration is required.
