Why I Support Dr. Shah for Congress
I have met with Dr. Shah and believe he is a sincere knowledgeable candidate who shares the views of many 10th district residents.

As our primary campaign season comes to an end voters must decide which candidate to support from their party. Our nation has been divided on issues over the last several years and candidates have only fueled that divide with flyers attacking their opponents. Rather than citing their qualifications for office the majority of ads have attacked members of their own party running for office.
I was appalled by the recent flyer sent by a candidate for the Republican 10th Congressional District attacking candidate Dr. Sapan Shah. The flyer insinuated Dr. Shah was creating a monster and his election would be a nightmare. The flyer was more appropriate for a poster for a class B movie then a campaign flyer for a candidate hoping to serve in Congress.
A major reason for our problems in this country is our lack of civility in dealing with people who have opposing views. Republicans attack Democrats and Democrats attack Republicans. In the primaries candidates attack members of their own party. This lack of civility has flowed from the president on down.

I support Dr. Sapan Shah in the 10th Congressional race. While reading Dr. Shah’s literature I learned about Dr. Shah and where he stood on issues, not why I shouldn’t vote for his opponents. I have met with Dr. Shah and believe he is a sincere knowledgeable candidate who shares the views of many 10th district residents. Dr. Shah is not an ultra-conservative nor is he an ultra-liberal. He is a candidate who speaks thoughtfully on all issues. While I do not agree with all of his positions, I believe he is a candidate who will listen to other sides of an issue before making decisions which effect all of us. My vote will be for Dr. Sapan Shah in the Republican 10th Congressional race Tuesday, March 20th.
