Winchester Road To Close For 45 Days Starting Wednesday
The roadway will be closed from Butterfield Road to Route 21 from July 26 to Sept. 8.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Winchester Road in Libertyville will close for 45 days for culvert work.
The roadway will be closed from Butterfield Road to Route 21 to through traffic starting at 6 a.m. on July 26. The road is expected to remain closed through Sept. 8, according to a news release from the village of Libertyville.
The closure is necessary for a box culvert replacement in Bull Creek as part of the Winchester Road resurfacing project, according to the news release. A detour will be set up from Butterfield Route to Route 137 to Route 21.

Local traffic will have access from Butterfield Road to the closure for the work site east of Jeremy Lane. Local traffic will also have access from Route 21 to Ellis Avenue (the Libertyville Township offices) and the Lake County Government campus.
