Winterfest Held This Weekend In Vernon Hills

VERNON HILLS, IL — All the fun will be held outdoors at this weekend's Winterfest in Vernon Hills.

The free event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the arboretum at Century Park, 1400 Indianwood Drive, Vernon Hills. There will be a free demo from the Spirit Sled Dog Team, s'mores to roast by a campfire and a horse and carriage ride around the Arboretum.

Those stopping out can also ice skate and sled, if weather conditions allow. In addition, there will be a Winter Fest walk at 1 p.m.
