X-Golf Opens In Libertyville

LIBERTYVILLE, IL — X-Golf has opened its doors in Libertyville, and another location is slated to open soon in Glenview. The X-Golf in Libertyville opened at 1177 S. MIlwaukee Ave. in September 2019 and features state-of-the-art simulators in seven bays as well as a full bar and restaurant.

Meanwhile, the Glenview location is slated to open early summer 2020 at Glenbrook Marketplace, 2847 Pfingsten Road. The 9,436-square-feet space will have eight golf simulators.

“We are thrilled to bring our technology to Chicagoland with our two new X-Golf locations,”said Ryan D’Arcy, president and CEO of X-Golf America. “X-Golf is the perfect active escape from the cold, windy city weather and we look forward to opening more locations this year to better serve the community. Our goal is to change the way people view indoor golf and make the sport more accessible.”

The state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators are meant to give players unparalleled accuracy and a real-life experience through a combination of camera systems, infrared lasers, impact sensors and advanced gaming software, according to a news release from the X-Golf.

X-Golf began developing simulators in Korea in 2005, first launching its American franchise operations in 2016. Since then, X-Golf has opened 20 locations across the U.S.
