Your Guide To Summer Festivals In Libertyville
Mark your calendar for this year's summer festivals in Libertyville.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Summer fun is right around the corner and Libertyville knows how to celebrate the warmer months here.
Plans are in the works for Libertyville Days, Dog Days of Summer and Festival of the Arts — the city's premier fests, which draws hundreds to the city to celebrate and take part in the fun. New this year, a Festivals of Libertyville group is joining forces to promote these three summer festivals — as well as Oktoberfest, which is held over Sept. 22-23.
The group, which includes representatives from community organizations that help plan the events, has a fresh logo, street banners and a QR code all meant to get the word out about Libertyville's events, according to the Daily Herald.

"I felt people need to associate Libertyville with these four festivals that run for four months," Scott Adams, president and CEO of the GLMV Chamber, told the Daily Herald. "One can kind of build on the other one. We've never done that before."
The first of the fests, Libertyville Days, will be held June 15 to 18 in downtown Libertyville. Among the highlights will be performances by Modern Day Romeos on Thursday night, Sneezy on Friday night and Lady A, a former Voice contestant, on Sunday evening. Church Street Eats, a carnival, arts and craft fair, parade, beer garden and additional entertainment throughout the weekend is also planned.
