In Your Hands: How to be Your Own Health Advocate

Free Healthcare Presentation at Arlington Hts. Library July 10th

More than ever, people are worried about the quality of the healthcare they
and their loved ones receive. That is why Teri Dreher, RN, will host the
presentation "In Your Hands: How to Be Your Own Health Advocate" on
Monday, July 10th. The location is the Arlington Heights
Memorial Library at 500 N. Dunton. The presentation with take place in the
Cardinal Room.

Teri Dreher is an award-winning critical care nurse and private
professional patient advocate. The program is free and open to the public.

Dreher will explain how to identify qualified medical providers, track down
accurate healthcare information, and avoid medical errors, now the third-leading
cause of death. She will share dos and don'ts for getting the best hospital
care, as well as tips for successfully navigating today's complex healthcare
system.
