2 Women Posed As Rideshare Drivers, Tried To Sell Cocaine: Police
Police said two Milwaukee women pretended to be rideshare drivers and flagged down a man in River North.

CHICAGO — Two women have been accused of pretending to be rideshare drivers and trying to sell cocaine in River North, police said. The women drove up to a man in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue on Nov. 24, and asked if he wanted a ride in their rideshare, according to police.
After he got in their car, the women offered to sell the man cocaine, police said. The women were arrested a few minutes later, and cocaine was found under the driver's side floorboard, according to police.
The women were driving an unauthorized rental car and neither one had a rideshare account, police said.

Lateka Delaney, 23, and Nicole Cathey, 38, both of Milwaukee, were each charged with a felony count of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a vehicle and soliciting unlawful business, police said.
