2 Women Robbed At Gunpoint In Old Town

The two victims were robbed 30 minutes apart, police said.

CHICAGO, IL — Two women were robbed in broad daylight in Old Town Wednesday night. The first robbery happened in the 1300 block of North Wells Street around 7 p.m., police said. The second robbery happened around 25 minutes later in the 1400 block of North Orleans Street, authorities said.

In the first incident, two men approached a 40-year-old woman, struck her in the arm and took her property, police said.

The second victim, a 26-year-old woman, was walking home when two men pulled out a gun and stole her Apple Watch, police said. The suspects got into a vehicle and drove off, police said.
