43rd Ward Safety Forum To Be Held In Lincoln Park
A surge in crime has prompted another public safety forum.

CHICAGO, IL — A safety forum will be held in the 43rd Ward at Lincoln Park High School on Thursday, May 17. The forum will offer information on crime initiatives and how the community can best work with police, Ald. Michele Smith (43rd) announced. The event will be held in the school's auditorium at 2001 N Orchard Street.
The CPD's 18th District Commander Dan O'Shea will speak at the event, and the Office of Emergency Management and Communications will give an overview of the latest 911 protocols and the the use of private security cameras.
Representatives of the Cook County State's Attorney's office will also attend to address the prosecution of offenders, Smith said.
