#5 Wrong Training Program
Many runners and new exercisers follow a program of greater difficulty because they read it in some magazine or online about FAST RESULTS. Then they fall victim to injury, overtraining, or burnout, so they quit. You won’t have this problem if you make a smart choice and hire a personal trainer or run coach to help you get started. That being said don’t push it… just because you read an article in Runners World or Mens Health that says you should be doing 20 x 400 every two weeks @ 5K pace or a weight routine at 95% of your one rep MAX does not mean that it’s for you.
