60-Year-Old Man Stabbed Multiple Times In Struggle During Break-In: Cops
Andre Bingham, 50, faces felony charges in the incident at an Old Town business Tuesday.

CHICAGO, IL — A Wicker Park man is accused of stabbing a 60-year-old employee multiple times Tuesday while the two struggled during an alleged break-in at an Old Town business, according to Chicago police.
Andre Bingham, 50, of the 1600 block of West Le Moyne Avenue, was charged with burglary, armed robbery and aggravated battery in the incident. All the charges are felonies.
According to police, Bingham allegedly broke in to a business in the 1600 block of North Wells Street at about 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, March 7. As Bingham was allegedly taking items from the business, he was confronted by two men who worked there, one 60 years old and the other 49.

The men fought, and Bingham allegedly stabbed the 60-year-old victim multiple times, police said.
Officers arrived at the scene, and Bingham was arrested after he was identified as the offender, according to police.
