Aaron's Apothecary In Lincoln Park Sold To Pharmacy Chain
A popular apothecary on North Clark Street has been sold to a pharmacy chain outlet.

CHICAGO, IL — Aaron's Apothecary on North Clark Street has now become a Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy outlet. Named after owner Aaron Pietrykowski, the apothecary boasted a five-star rating on Yelp and Facebook and was known throughout the community for its customer service. In a post on the apothecary's website, Pietrykowski said he was inspired to open his business after traveling the world and seeing pharmacies elsewhere.
“I opened Aaron’s Apothecary because of my strong conviction that a pharmacy experience should be more than just a 45-minute wait in a cold, stale environment," Pietrykowski explained on the site.
"The great pharmacies of old were pillars of their communities in both appearance and service. Old-world apothecaries represented a time when personal care was met with pride and gratitude. I have set out to recapture this moment in time and revive how glamorous and extraordinary pharmacies once were.” (For more local news, subscribe to free email news alerts and a daily newsletter for your hometown Patch.)

The store reopened as a Pharmaca outlet on Tuesday, and according to DNAinfo, has retained all the apothecary's staff.
The new management said the new outlet will work hard to retain Pietrykowsk's original vision for the store, and attention to customer service and care.
