Investigators were tipped off by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that Sacluti was at the airport waiting for a flight to Japan. He was arrested on an active warrant for promoting prostitution.
In May 2013, Sacluti offered to be a woman’s pimp after seeing her ad on Backpage.com, Sheriff’s Police investigators said.

He allegedly arranged a meeting with the woman, who turned out to be an undercover Cook County Sheriff’s Police officer. Investigators said that Sacluti took money from the officer under the pretense that it came from her prostitution earnings.
When police went to arrest Sacluti following their investigation, he had fled to the Philippines and a warrant was issued for his arrest, Sheriff’s Police said.
Sacluti has other prior pimping arrests. In August 2011, Sacluti was arrested at a Red Roof Inn in Arlington Heights after an undercover officer saw an ad and made arrangements to meet a woman at the motel, the Daily Herald reported.
He was picked up again in Naperville in May 2012, on cannabis possession and promoting prostitution charges, and for not wearing a seatbelt, Naperville Patch reported.
Sacluti was denied bail in a Jan. 10 court appearance at the George N. Leighton Criminal Courts Building.
He was scheduled to appear Tuesday in the Cook County Courthouse in Rolling Meadows.
