Accused North Side Groper Chased Down on the Street

His wandering hands and lack of speed got him arrested and cost him his job, too.

A 50-year-old man accused of groping a woman’s butt under her skirt lost his job after he was chased down by two Chicago Streets and Sanitation workers. A woman out for a sunny Sunday walk in Wicker Park says a man approached her, commented about the shade and then reached under her skirt.

“I felt his hand under my skirt and said, ‘What the f--- are you doing?’ and ran after him screaming ‘police, police!’” the woman told DNAInfo Chicago.

The city workers passing by in their truck noticed, gave chase on foot and caught the man outside of Pizano’s Pizza and Pasta on Division Street. The alleged groper, Luis Madrigal, 50, of the 2600 block of West Haddon Avenue, works there as a dishwasher. Or, rather, he used to wash dishes there. Pizano’s CEO Rudy Malnati fired him.
