Anixter Center Annual Benefit for Ability to help people with disabilities.

WHAT: Anixter Center Annual Benefit for Ability, Soaring to Success. All proceeds from the “Empowerment through Employment” fundraiser will support Anixter Center’s mission of helping people with disabilities and related challenges live, learn, work and play in the community.
WHY: This year’s event will honor Comcast Corporation for its commitment to supporting empowerment through employment for people of all abilities. For more than 13 years, Comcast has been a loyal client of Anixter Center’s Packaging Services, providing contractual work that has employed up to 200 people with disabilities in Chicago each day. On a national scale, at locations across the country, Comcast is committed to supporting empowerment through employment for people of all abilities, recognizing the incredible value of a diverse workforce. Matt Summy, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Comcast’s Greater Chicago Region will be accepting our award on behalf of Comcast.
