Anti-Abortion Rally Planned in Lincoln Park Monday

Pro-life group plans to share graphic images of aborted fetuses on one street corner in the neighborhood.

Chicago, IL - A pro-life group will bring its message, which includes several graphic printed images of aborted fetuses, to Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood on Monday.

The Pro-Life Action League's "Face the Truth" tour will stop at West DePaul, the corner of Fullerton and Ashland avenues, from 3-4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 11.

The planned demonstration is one of 24 planned throughout Chicago and its suburbs this month.

The group says the reason for the photos is to show “the truth about abortion and what it does to unborn children.”

“When we show the victims, abortion comes front-and-center into a community and this gets people talking about it,” said Pro-Life Action League Executive Director Eric Scheidler in a news release. “Precisely because abortion is so astoundingly destructive — and has touched so very many lives — nobody wants to talk about it. That silence must be broken, and that’s why we continue to jump start these conversations.”
