Art Van Charity Bear Makes Holidays Happier for Chicago Charities

The Art Van Furniture Charity Bear makes its debut in the Windy City this holiday season, bringing smiles and much-needed monetary support to local charities. The Bear is on sale now for $29.99 with 100% of the proceeds benefitting select Chicagoland charities. This effort to raise funds for the community is part of the Art Van’s Million Dollar Charity Challenge.

Now through January 1, 2014, all five Chicagoland locations, including in the Chicago store located in the Logan Square neighborhood on Elston Avenue, will sell the stuffed animal.

The guest who purchases the Bear chooses which particular charity will receive the donation with eligible organizations including the Boys & Girls Club, Ronald McDonald House and JDRF.

The Bear has light brown fur and is dressed in a festive red-knit sweater with white snowflakes, making it  a great stocking stuffer. Since 2010, the Bear has been for sale in Michigan, and this year expanded to the Chicagoland area and Toledo as Art Van continues to add new retail locations.
