Bastille Day at Porkchop

Porkchop on Randolph Street is celebrating Bastille Day backwoods style on Monday, July 14. The holiday hits close to home for Porkchop’s founder and owner, Jovanis Bourgoub, who was born in France. Adding to a whiskey list of over 75 varieties, Porkchop on Randolph will offer Bastille 1789, a French whisky, for $12 a glass, in honor of the storming of the Bastille and the start of the French Revolution in 1789. In addition, Porkchop will offer its Country Sandwich for $10. A toasted croissant, smoked country ham, and Parmesan cheese béchamel will storm your taste buds to give you the one of a kind flavor of France meeting backwoods comfort food.
