Burglars Target Multiple Lincoln Park Homes
Police sent out a community alert warning North Side residents to be vigilant.

CHICAGO — Multiple burglaries were reported in the Lincoln Park neighborhood throughout November, police warned in an alert Thursday. In each burglary, the offender breaks into a home through open doors and windows, police said.
Once inside, the suspect steals computer equipment, jewelry, camera equipment, credit cards and cash.

- in the 2200 block of North Seminary Ave. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, during the afternoon hours.
- in the 1700 block of North North Park Ave. on Thursday, Nov. 8, during the daytime hours.
- in the 1800 block of North Fremont St. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, during the evening hours.
- in the 1900 block of North Dayton St. on Thursday, Nov. 15, during the daytime hours.
- in the 1800 block of North Halsted St. on Friday, Nov. 16, during the daytime hours.
- in the 2100 block of North Sheffield Ave., Monday, Nov. 19, during the evening hours.
Police are warning residents to keep their doors locked and windows secure.
