Burglary Prevention Workshop To Be Held In Lincoln Park

The 18th Police District Community Policing Office will be hosting a gathering this Thursday, Sept. 13 on the North Side.

CHICAGO — A "Keepin' It Real" Burglary Workshop will be hosted by the 18th District Chicago Police and Ald. Michele Smith (43rd) this week. The workshop will include an in-depth discussion on burglary awareness and prevention from a panel of convicted burglars on parole, police said.

The workshop will be held Thursday, Sept. 13 at St. James Lutheran Church, 2101 N. Fremont Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

"Past attendees have said that this is a highly informative evening, and I hope you will consider attending," Smith's weekly newsletter read.
