According to a cool interactive map put together by DNAinfo and based off of city dog licenses, labrador retriever is the the most popular dog breed in the 60614 zip code. Golden retriever was second and German shepherd third.

This is close to overall city preferences, which rank labrador retriever, pit bull and german shepherd as the top three breeds. Most of the dog licenses are for "mixed," "other," or "unknown," however. The DNAinfo analysis shows that north siders prefer labrador retrievers while pit bulls are more popular on the west side.
