Car Thieves Stole Lincoln Park Woman's SUV, Led Police Chase on South Side and Left it Smelling Like Smoke
Alex Sparkman got her Ford Escape back after the chase ended, then found the car handles had been used as ashtrays.

CHICAGO, IL - One of three police chases to hit Chicago and the nearby suburbs Wednesday night began in Englewood and progressed through south suburban Markham and Hazel Crest.
The vehicle used by the fleeing men is a 2009 Ford Escape owned by Lincoln Park resident Alex Sparkman, ABC-7-Chicago reports, and even though it has been returned to its rightful owner, Sparkman will probably unload it as soon as she can.

The four offenders were arrested near a car dealership in Hazel Crest. The car was sent to a police station in Englewood, where Sparkman had to pick it up on Thursday.
