Chicago Women support Deborah's Place

Spouses of the Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush doctors volunteered at Deborah's Place, a Chicago housing center for homeless women.

Justyna Della Valle and Emily Cole of Chicago, and other spouses and family members of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) physicians, served a hot meal and donated items such as toiletries, clothing and bed linens to the women of Deborah’s Place in Chicago. The volunteers also enjoyed conversation, played games and sang songs with Deborah’s Place residents. Deborah’s Place is Chicago’s largest provider of housing exclusively for women and provides other services such as counseling and meals to over 234 women escaping the cycle of poverty. This event is annually enjoyed by both volunteers and the women of Deborah’s Place. For more information about Deborah’s Place, visit www.deborahsplace.org.
