Clark Street Dog and Bar Celebrates National Hot Dog Month
Featuring an Instagram contest where four lucky winners will get free hot dogs for a year.

In celebration of National Hot Dog Month this July, the East Lakeview hot dog shop, Clark Street Dog and Bar (3040 N Clark St), will feature a new hot dog special every week starting July 10.
Available always is the Frank 'n Mary Bloody Mary featuring a whole Vienna Beef hot dog and CH Peppercorn Vodka for only $10.
Other new hot dogs this month include the California Dog ($4.39), served with house made pico de gallo and topped with chopped onions, tomatoes, cilantro, squeeze of lime and avocado slices, the Mac 'n Cheese Dog ($4.39), topped with Barilla elbow pasta and Clark Street Dog house brand cheddar, and A Dog's Breakfast ($5.39), topped with two slices of applewood smoked bacon and a sunny side egg.

Guests will also have a chance to win FREE hot dogs for a year. Patrons who take photos of their hot dogs with one of the iconic Clark Street Dog signs and share the photos on Instagram using hashtag #clarkstreetdog will be entered for a chance to win free hot dogs for a year. One winner will be chosen each week in July.
Recognized as Lakeview's favorite hot dog joint, the restaurant has been serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, gyros, Italian beef and sausage, chicken sandwiches, salads and more since 1977. With around 100,000 hot dogs sold every year, the restaurant's biggest seller is their signature Clark Street Dog, a play on the traditional Chicago Dog with mustard, onion, relish, tomato, pickle and sport peppers.
