Clybourn Avenue Will Close Monday
Water main work means detours will be in place for part of busy street in Lincoln Park.
CHICAGO, IL - Monday’s early morning work commute may be a little bit more complicated if you go through Lincoln Park.
Emergency crews will work on water main repairs on Clybourn Avenue between Southport and Racine, according to WLS and Chicago Sun-Times reports. Traffic will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. while the work is being done.
Northbound traffic will be detoured west on North Avenue and north on Ashland while southbound commuters will turn from Clybourn to Ashland and back to Clybourn.
